Visit Buddha Dordenma, National Memorial Chorten, Tashichho Dzong and the handicraft market. Overnight in Thimphu.
Thimphu to Punakha
Travel via Dochula Pass and its 108 chortens. Visit Punakha Dzong. Overnight in Punakha.
Punakha to Paro
Drive to Paro. Chimi Lhakhang may be visited subject to time and access. Explore Paro town. Overnight in Paro.
Paro and Tiger’s Nest
Visit the iconic Tiger’s Nest (Paro Taktsang) on a demanding hike. Rinpung Dzong may be added if time and energy permit. Overnight in Paro.
Paro to Phuentsholing and Siliguri / NJP / Bagdogra
Start early for the return road journey via Phuentsholing. This is a long travel day; allow a suitable buffer for onward connections.
